Only tiny little pins are inserted very shallowly in the lower conch area of the ear. There is a little bit of pain (like a mosquito bite more or less) that one will experience. disposable needls are used so there is no worry about contagious diseases. You may resume normal activities immediately after the treatment. There is a requirement not to smoke for one hour before a smoker takes the treatment.
This treatment helps you to quit smoking in three very important ways:
(1) The craving for nicotine is eliminated. (2) The withdrawal systoms will be controlled to very minimal levels. And (3) There is also a build in weight control treatment to reduce or completely avoid gaining weight after quiting.
